Welcome to TechMom, a site for moms, people who like tech, and anyone in-between!

The intent of this site is to create content related to the tech that gets used in a world with kids. But there’s lots of stuff that may come up tangentially – mom books, tech books, gadgets useful for moms (and other busy people), lessons learned, and general guidance on navigating life with kids in an increasingly tech-focused world.

Jen is a mom to 1-year-old Josh and 4-year-old Katy. She has worked in tech jobs starting with a stint at the campus IT Help Desk in college. She and her husband are proud nerds and enthusiastic (though cautious) about the use of tech in their home. Jen has degrees in Textile Business Management and Technical Writing and 15+ years working in web design and development, IT Service Management, and IT training and support.
